With the New Year comes the inevitable resolution to tackle your fitness and health goals. You may be looking to better your health, increase energy or develop a stronger body. No matter what you’re aiming to accomplish, we can all use some expert advice and motivation to turn those resolutions into lasting habits.
To help you stick to your goals this year, Fitness and Nutrition Expert Jody Trierweiler stopped by “Live in the D” with some helpful tips. “One of the reasons people quit is because they set their goals too high,” Trierweiler said. She said only 9% of people see their fitness goals through, throughout the year.
She said there are 3 things she wants everyone to remember while trying to achieve their fitness goals.
“Think It” – Come up with a goal
“Shrink It” – Don’t make your goal too high
“Ink it” – Write down your goal(s).
