Bingo and exercise may seem like two activities on opposite ends of the spectrum, but a local organization has merged them into a very unique event.
The ADRC of the Lakeshore is starting up a program they are calling Bingocize, which aims to promote an active and healthy lifestyle while fostering a sense of community and social connection.
This inclusive activity will have participants engage in a range of exercises that contribute to overall well-being, including increased range of motion, better cognitive functioning, and more mobility and independence.
Bingocize is taking reservations now and is open to all Manitowoc County residents who are 60 years and older.
Classes will be held every Monday and Wednesday in the large conference room in the Manitowoc County Office Complex (4319 Expo Drive) starting March 24th.
The classes will run from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. with a contribution of $10 suggested for participants.
For more information about this class or to register, call the ADRC of the Lakeshore at 1-877-416-7083.
