Pitt will have its full schedule released next Monday, but not before a few days of teasing from the ACC.
Week 0 and 1 games will be revealed on Thursday at 4 p.m. on the ACC Network, and while Pitt doesn’t have a Week 0 matchup, we already know that the Panthers open the season at home against Duquesne.
The conference opener for all 17 ACC teams will be revealed on Friday at 4 p.m. on the ACC Network.
And the full schedule (minus kickoff times) will be revealed next Monday, Jan. 27 at 9 p.m. on the ACC Network. It’s the yearly Schedule Release Show that will span two hours.

Pitt already knows when three of its games will take place next season, but the rest of the schedule is up in the air. Pitt kicks off its season against Duquense at home on Aug. 30 and stays home for another non-conference clash against Central Michigan on Sept.
The only non-conference game on the road comes against West Virginia on Sept. 13 — the first matchup against WVU head coach Rich Rodriguez since the infamous 13-9 win in 2007.
Non-conference schedule:
Duquesne — Aug. 30 at Acrisure Stadium
Central Michigan — Sept. 6 at Acrisure Stadium
WVU — Sept. 13 at Milan Puskar Stadium
Notre Dame — TBD at Acrisure Stadium
The conference slate is yet to be sorted out, but we know that Pitt will host Boston College, Louisville, Miami and North Carolina State, and the Panthers will hit the road to play Florida State, Georgia Tech, Stanford and Syracuse.
Pitt is coming off a 7-6 (3-5 ACC) season in which the Panthers dropped six straight games to end the season. It wasn’t pretty, and there is plenty of blame to go around, but it was also still a four-win improvement from 2023. And there are reasons for optimism.
Pitt has retained just about every important player on the roster this offseason, including Eli Holstein, Desmond Reid and Kyle Louis, and the transfer portal has brought new starters in across the board.
It remains to be seen how Pitt will perform in 2025, but the potential is there.
