BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women’s golf team is set to begin its spring season on February 1st by hosting Samford at the Hoover Country Club.
A TRIP TO THE NEIGHBOR’S:
After they host the Bulldogs in early February, the Blazers will compete in four tournaments, three of them in Georgia. On February 21-23, UAB heads to Eatonton to compete in Mercer’s Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational. A month later, the Blazers travel to Kennesaw to compete in the Pinetree Women’s Collegiate March 24-25. UAB rounds out its regular season by competing in Athens at Georgia’s Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on April 8-9.
BAMA BEACH BASH:
For the ninth consecutive year, the Blazers are set to host the Bama Beach Bash. The three-day tournament will take place March 16-18 in Gulf Shores at Gulf Shores Golf Club. Last year, the field was only able to complete 36 holes due to severe weather.
AAC TOURNAMENT:
The Blazers close off their spring slate at the American Athletic Conference Tournament on April 14-16. The tournament will take place April 14-16 in Brooksville, Florida at Southern Hills Plantation Club.
