Santa Serby is checking his list and checking it twice, and everyone knows the rest.
Several nights before Christmas and all through the house, not a Jets nor Giants creature was stirring as Santa Serby prepares to deliver his Merry Christmas wishes and gifts.
High on Santa’s list is a healthy Patrick Mahomes. Chiefs Kingdom will be holding its collective breath on The Franchise’s wounded ankle the rest of the way. Santa has never witnessed a threepeat Super Bowl winner. Neither has Taylor Swift. Neither has Carson Wentz. Neither has anyone else. The 2024 Chiefs have hardly resembled a feared powerhouse, but Santa knows a healthy Mahomes always gives them a chance.
Santa, because he is Santa, wishes the best for everyone and does have a soft spot in his heart for Bills Mafia and the four consecutive Super Bowl losses Jim Kelly’s boys endured in the early ’90s. So Santa is in no way opposed to having Josh Allen secure the No. 1 seed and first-round bye for a chance at revenge on Mahomes at an Arctic Orchard Park, especially with an itinerary that includes a planned stop for wings at Bar-Bill Tavern.
