It happens every year, and it’s always dramatic: NFL players who want a new contract or an extension either don’t show up for training camp (that’s known as holding out) or do show up but then don’t practice (known as holding in).
Of course it’s happening in 2024. There’s a handful of noteworthy names who have decided to make their voices heard and are hoping for a new contract or, in at least one case, a trade out of town.
So as we get into training camp, here’s a look at the who’s who of holdouts and hold-ins, and we’ll update this if more join the list:
