A 44-year-old Fort Myers man was killed Saturday when the golf cart he was driving along Winkler Road swerved and hit a gas truck head-on, according to a Florida Highway Patrol report.
Two men were riding south in the golf cart when the driver went off the road, overcorrected and then veered into northbound traffic.
The 30-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries, according to the FHP report, as did the driver of the truck.
