Master of the Seas, winner of three Grade 1 races for trainer Charlie Appleby, was retired to Godolphin’s Kildangan Stud in Ireland.
Godolphin, owner and breeder of the 7-year-old gelded son of Dubawi, noted in an X post that he also was born at the Ireland farm.

Master of the Seas won eight graded stakes, including the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Santa Anita and the Woodbine Mile (G1) in 2023 and the Maker’s Mark Mile (G1) at Keeneland in April 2024, which was his last start. He had three published works in July but none since.
He race in Europe and Dubai until the spring of his 5-year-old year, and his final four starts were in North America. In addition to the three wins mentioned above, he was second by a nose in the Coolmore Turf Mile (G1) at Keeneland in 2023.
He has a career record of 17: 9-3-2 and earnings of $2,520,582.
