25 Sports High School Tuesday – February 18, 2025- IHSA Girls basketball regionals continue, and Metamora and Tri-Valley clinch outright boys’ titles
(25News Now) – In the 3A State Tournament, #6 Morton and Dunlap both earn opening-round victories. In the 2A Tournament, Bloomington Central Catholic and Tremont will face off for a regional title after both winning their 1st-round matchups. Pekin moves on to the 4A regional title game after a hard-fought win.
In boys basketball, #7 Metamora wrapped up the outright Mid-Illini title by beating Dunlap.-Morton and East Peoria also pick up Mid-Illini victories.
Tri-Valley earned the outright HOI title after a win over Fisher. Peoria Manual, Peoria Notre Dame, Eureka, Brimfield, Peoria Heights, and Bloomington also get another notch in the win column.
