25 Sports High School Monday – February 17, 2025 – Girls’ Basketball State Regional top seeds hit the court
(25News Now) – In the 3A Girls’ State Tournament, #1 Washington needed a 2nd half push to beat Mid-Illini rival, Metamora. Avery Tibbs led the Panthers with 30 points. Washington will play Morris Thursday for the Regional title.
In the 2A Tournament, #2 Peoria Notre Dame, Canton, #7 Dee-Mack, and Peoria Manual all move on with 1st round victories. In the 1A Tournament, Roanoke-Benson also advances with an opening-round win.
