Five-star junior quarterback Jared Curtis announced Georgia football, Alabama, Oregon, Ohio State, South Carolina and Auburn as his top six schools on Wednesday, according to On3.com’s Hayes Fawcett.
Curtis replied “where’s (home)?” to Fawcett’s post citing Curtis’ top schools on the ‘X’ platform, formerly Twitter.
Curtis, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound former Georgia commitment from Nashville Christian, is a five-star prospect ranked as No. 2 quarterback in the 2026 class and No. 4 player nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite.
Curtis told the Tennessean in December that he will likely commit this summer. He decommitted from Georgia in October but said the Bulldogs were still among his top schools.
Curtis led Nashville Christian to the TSSAA football Division II-A state title in December and raked in multiple accolades. He was voted as Tennessee Titans DII-A Mr. Football and also claimed the Gatorade Tennessee football player of the year award.
He finished his sophomore season 179-of-255 passing for 2,830 yards passing, 40 touchdowns and three interceptions. He also led Nashville Christian (12-1) in rushing with 637 yards and 18 touchdowns on 88 carries.
Curtis has hinted that South Carolina is arguably recruiting him the hardest among his top schools. Ohio State’s appeal may be rising with is College Football Playoff run, which continues in the national championship game against Notre Dame on Jan. 20.
Curtis is also hosting his first in-home visits. He recently posted photos on social media from visits made by Auburn quarterbacks coach Kent Austin and Georgia offensive coordinator Mike Bobo.
Curtis once was the No. 1 QB recruit for the 2026 class but is now No. 2. The 247Sports Composite, which factors in rankings across all recruiting services, now lists Tennessee football commitment Faizon Brandon at No. 1.
