2025 NFL mock draft: Expert projections for first round ahead of Super Bowl
All-star games have concluded, and the NFL combine is a month away as the 2025 NFL Draft process formally gets under way for teams.
Focus shifts this week to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, then will move toward the draft, including what the Tennessee Titans will do at No. 1 overall.
There are four names around the conversation for the top pick, including quarterbacks Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders, edge rusher Abdul Carter and two-way Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter.
Here’s the full roundup for this week’s mock drafts ahead of Sunday’s Super Bowl:
Through a month of the draft process, four names have been most often mocked to the Titans at No. 1 overall: Penn State’s Abdul Carter, Miami’s Cam Ward, and Colorado’s Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter. This week, only Ward and Carter are atop the four mocks we rounded up.
Carter’s athleticism off the edge is unique, as is Ward’s out-of-the-pocket creativity. Until the public knows more about the Titans’ mindset, expect those four names to rotate through the top of mock drafts.
