Punch/Power
Blake Miller was a blast to watch on film, largely due to the power he generates out of his stance. Several times, he was able to knock defenders off balance and get that advantage needed to win the rep against them. With his punch, he also showed that the power he has is good enough to knock around even the NFL talent he faced, especially Jared Verse and Patrick Payton.
Physicality
Miller’s Florida State film was a 12-round title fight the likes of which Joe Frazier and George Foreman would look at and be impressed. Against Verse and Payton of Florida State, Miller was able to win reps against them and be more physical than both were. Several times, he was able to take them completely out of play by finishing blocks and putting his body weight on them.
Bend/Leverage
For as physical a blocker as Miller can be and is, he also demonstrates fluidity to his movement at the tackle position. Time and again he can bend with finesse or speed rushers on the edge and stay with them. The leverage he gets on guys with his strong hands allows him to anchor well and also take them out of plays.
