Although they won’t officially be revealed for a few more weeks, two of the potential four different uniforms that will be worn during the 2025 NBA All-Star Game leaked on social media on Friday evening.
The retail photos, which we can confirm are legitimate, were posted on X/Twitter by @EldenMonitors, who you may recall also leaked every City and Classic Edition uniform for the 2024-25 season back in September.
This year’s All-Star Game will take place at Chase Center in San Francisco, home of the Golden State Warriors, on Feb. 16 (8 p.m. ET on TNT) and will feature a new four-team format.
The All-Stars will be divided evenly into three teams of eight, while the fourth team will be winner of the Rising Stars Tournament, which takes place on Feb. 14 and is comprised of first- and second-year players.
Both semifinal games and the championship round will play to a target score of 40, with each player on the winning team receiving $125,000. Players on the second-place team get $50,000, while the semifinalists get $25,000.
Traditionally, the All-Star Game pitted players from the Eastern and Western conferences but had the leading vote-getters choose their teams from 2018-23 before returning to an East vs West format last season.
As for this year’s game(s), it’s not yet clear if the NBA plans to have both semifinals feature the same uniform matchups or if there are additional designs that remain under wraps.
Considering that both championship participants could wear the same design in the semifinals and that the Rising Stars Tournament historically uses four different designs, we’re willing to bet it’s the latter.
The two that have leaked so far are naturally inspired by the Warriors’ identity, as the white version features their classic gold, red and blue color scheme and a trolley car on the waistband.
The light blue version marks a slight departure from Golden State’s branding but notably includes the Oak tree from the Warriors’ 2017-19 Statement, 2018-19 Earned and 2019-20 City Edition uniforms on the shorts.
Both uniforms feature a unique “All-Star” wordmark and the star-shaped NBA logo patch on the chest, as well as asymmetrical stripes down the side of the jerseys and around the bottom of the shorts.
The star-shaped patch, which also appears on the back collar and side of the shorts, pulls inspiration from the All-Star Game logo and is complete with the silhouette of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge along the top.
