The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will introduce an exciting new format featuring a mini-tournament with four teams competing in three games. Two teams will face off in one semifinal, while the other two teams will compete in a second semifinal. The objective is to be the first to reach 40 points. The winners of these semifinal matchups will advance to the championship game, promising a thrilling event.
The tournament-style competition will be held on Sunday, February 16, at the Chase Center, the home of the Golden State Warriors. Here is what to know about the 2025 NBA All-Star weekend:
The 2025 NBA All-Star Game will be a tournament format with four teams: Team Chuck, Team Shaq, Team Kenny, and Team Candace, created by the Rising Stars event winner.
The four teams will battle it out in two semifinal games, with the winners advancing to the championship.
The main event will take place on Sunday, Feb. 16, at 8 p.m. ET, and it will be broadcast on TNT.
