Twenty-year-old South African Aldrich Potgieter is one of the PGA Tour’s fresh faces after earning his Tour card as one of the top-30 points-earners on the Korn Ferry Tour last year. And in only his fourth tournament of the year, he’s making the most of the move, firing a second-round 61 to reach 16 under par and take a four-shot lead with two rounds to play.
But there are plenty of experienced players trailing him, including Stephan Jaegar (-12), Aaron Rai (-11) and Akshay Bhatia (-10), making the weekend of play must-see TV.
