That was a school record for states, surpassing the previous mark of 150 by Anthony Sebastianelli in 2013. … Shot even-par 72 to help the Comets place fourth in Class 3A at the PIAA Team Championships on PSU White Course. … Won the District 2 Class 3A individual title with a 2-over-par 74 at Elkview Country Club. … Had 2-over-par 73 at Fox Hill Country Club to help Abington Heights capture District 2 Class 3A team championship. … Shared co-medalist honors with teammate Robert Munley at the Lackawanna League District 2 qualifier. … Tied for sixth at the season-opening Bob Simons Classic. … Helped the Comets go 12-2 and capture their third straight Lackawanna League Class 3A title. … Plans to continue his career at the University of Scranton. … Second All-Region selection.

Shot 1-under-par 71 on Penn State Blue Course to help the Cavaliers claim the PIAA Class 2A team championship by nine strokes over District 10 Cathedral Prep. … In the individual state championships, he shot 4-over 148 on the PSU Blue Course to finish tied for 14th in Class 2A. … Began the season by winning the Bob Simons Classic with an even-par 72 at Elkview Country Club. … Key contributor to Scranton Prep’s undefeated Lackawanna League championship squad. … Tied for fifth at the Lackawanna League District 2 qualifier, then placed fifth in Class 2A at district championships. … First All-Region selection.

Opened the season by shooting 81 at the Bob Simons Classic to finish tied for 12th. … Helped the Comets capture Lackawanna League and District 2 titles in Class 3A and place fourth at the PIAA Team Championships, where he shot 4-over 76 on the Penn State White Course. … In the PIAA Individual Championships, he tied for 41st in Class 3A with a 7-over 151 (76-75). … Was co-medalist with teammate Cade Kelleher at the Lackawanna League District 2 qualifier with a 74. … Tied for second in Class 3A with teammates Robert Bingham and Phillip Matthews with a 75 at the District 2 Championships. … First All-Region selection.

Along with fellow freshman Brendan Bell, they were the final pieces to the Cavaliers’ PIAA Class 2A championship puzzle. … Shot 2-over 74 on the Penn State Blue Course in the team championships. … Finished tied for 14th in Class 2A at the District 2 Championships. … Was medalist with an even-par 71 at Fox Hill at the District 2 Class 2A Team Championships to spark Scranton Prep’s win over Wyoming Seminary. … Was medalist in both the team’s playoff matches to help the Cavaliers win their ninth straight Lackawanna League Class 2A crown. … Placed second, one shot behind teammate Ben Boyanoski, at the Bob Simons Classic with 1-over 73. … First All-Region selection.

COACH OF THE YEAR

CHRISTI DORECE, Scranton Prep

Guided the Cavaliers to an undefeated regular season, their ninth straight Lackawanna League title, District 2 and District 2-4 subregional crowns and the PIAA Class 2A championship. … Also helped the Classics girls team take second in District 2 Class 2A and earn an at-large bid to the PIAA Team Championships, where they finished fifth in Class 2A.
