The birdies were plentiful in the opening round at the Country Club of Jackson, with many players racking up the red numbers to start the week.
But no player made more birdies than David Skinns. Skinns shot an incredible 12-under 60 on Thursday, missing a nine-foot putt on his final hole that would have given him a 59.
Michael Thorbjornsen is the closest chaser and will begin the second round three shots off Skinns’ lead.
