Junior quarterback Jack Wright and senior linebacker Easton Kemper, who helped No. 11 Burns become the lowest seed to win an OSAA football title since it started seeding the entire bracket in 2013, won top Class 3A honors in voting by the classification’s coaches.
Wright threw for 2,553 yards and 28 touchdowns in the 2024 season, including 939 yards and 10 scores during the Hilanders’ four-game playoff run, and earned offensive player of the year honors.
Kemper, voted the defensive player of the year, made 32 of his 90 tackles during the postseason, including 9.5 tackles for loss in four playoff games and 30 total.
Hilanders coach Matt Bruck was named 3A coach of the year.
