2024 NFL Season: Week 3 early games open thread
Week 3 of the 2024 NFL season is here!
The lead game on CBS is the Los Angeles Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers, but anyone sensible knows the best matchup in the early window is the 2-0 Houston Texans at the 2-0 Minnesota Vikings. Is Sam Darnold’s turnaround for real? Or is he having another strong September start like he did in 2021 before fading out to more familiar territory?
FOX’s lead 10 am game is the Philadelphia Eagles at the exciting (!!) New Orleans Saints. The Eagles gave away a sure win on Monday against the Atlanta Falcons, while the Saints are 2-0 and new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak is the talk of the NFL world with the way Derek Carr-led offense has performed.
