Just days after the NBA’s new City and Classic Edition uniforms were leaked on social media, the court designs for the 2024 Emirates NBA Cup suffered the same fate, as they were recently leaked via NBA 2K25.
Facebook user Christian Soleño shared screenshots of 25 of the 30 courts, which – like last year’s team-specific designs – are painted entirely in team colors and feature an oversized NBA Cup trophy behind the team logos at midcourt and in the lanes.
But unlike the 2023 In-Season Tournament, which featured a contrasting stripe down the center of the courts, representing the airport runway in Las Vegas, site of the semifinals and finals, this season’s design has large circles that radiate from midcourt.
The 2023 designs also matched each team’s City Edition uniforms, which were worn by the home teams during the tournament, whereas this year’s courts pull elements from their respective Statement sets. Those details are either sublimated on the court or have been placed along the sidelines.
As mentioned, this post only includes 25 of the 30 teams, with the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers absent from the leaks. You can still get an idea of what they’ll look like based on their Statement sets.
The 2024 Emirates NBA Cup will tip off on Nov. 12 and culminate with the championship game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Dec. 17. The league will also likely unveil a special court for the semifinals and finals after doing so last season, the base color didn’t allow participants to wear their City Edition uniforms due to a lack of contrast.
