Walmart’s Holiday Deals event kicked off on Tuesday, October 8. The massive competing Prime Day sale is set to wrap up on Sunday, October 13.
The Walmart Holiday Deals event is Walmart’s answer to Amazon’s October Prime Day sale. The rival sale is kicking off the holiday shopping season with markdowns of up to 50% off (and, in some cases, even more) across Walmart’s collection of fashion, tech, home, kitchen and lifestyle products. During the sale, you can save on everything from kitchen appliances and bedroom furniture to holiday decor and fall fashion.
While you don’t need a Walmart+ membership to shop the Holiday Deals sale, having one can help you access early exclusive deals and other special shopping benefits (during this sale and others). To sign up, simply go to Walmart’s website and navigate to the Walmart+ sign up page. Here, you’ll be able to enter your information to sign up for a membership. If you’ve never had a Walmart+ account before you can even get 30 days of membership entirely free!
